With the change of venue in 2012 we now have enough space to provide pre-booked tables to bird sellers. This enables bird sellers to arrive up to 9:30am Saturday morning and still be assured table space to sell your birds.

Note: You DO NOT need to pre-book a table. You can just turn up on the day and put your birds on any of the non-booked tables - just like our previous sales.

Costs

Cost is $10 per 6 foot (1.8 meters) tables. Payment needs to be received by close of business Wednesday 29th of February 2012. We accept cheque and direct deposit (we will email instructions once you book below).
Refunds are available if you notify us before close of business Wednesday 29th February 2012.

PLUS your standard benching fees of $1/bird and 50c/bird under $5 value payable on the day.

If you aren't a member of the Orange Bird Society you will also need a $2 temporary membership for each person wishing to enter the hall.

Benching

You can bench your birds on Friday between 2:30pm and 8pm and Saturday between 7:00am and 9:20am.

The sale is open to the public at 10:00am, sellers will be allowed in at 9:50am.

Conditions

The NSW Bird Sale Voluntary Code of Practice is an initiative to protect the future of bird sales and aviculture in general.
It's important you read and understand what is required of you as a seller.
We don't put these rules in place to make "things" difficult.
We run the sale by these rules to ensure the long term future of our hobby.
Your help and understanding is appreciated.

Please also comply with the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Act.

Note: If you don't arrive by 9:30am Saturday (and haven't notified us that you are going to be late) your tables may be re-assigned to other sellers.
